Happy New Year!
Can you believe it? We've stepped into 2026! As I sit here reflecting on everything that happened in 2025, my heart is just overflowing with gratitude. What a journey it's been! The Lord has been so faithful, and I'm excited (and maybe a little nervous!) to see what adventures He has planned for us in this brand-new year.
A Dream Come True
December was absolutely packed with blessings, and I have to pinch myself sometimes because it still feels surreal. My debut novel, Renewing His Hope, officially released on December 1st, and friends, YOU made it happen! Your support, your encouragement, your reviews, and your willingness to share my story with others… it's all been beyond anything I could have imagined. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and this story that God placed on my heart.
My First Book Club Experience (Butterflies and All!)
Okay, so picture this: My Pastor asked me to facilitate our church book club, and guess what the first selection was? Yep—Renewing His Hope! Talk about nerve-wracking! I was a bundle of nerves walking into that room, but it turned out to be one of the most special nights of my life.
Having my husband, daughter, Mom, and Dad there supporting me, along with my Pastor and other members of our congregation, made my heart so full. We had the most wonderful discussions about faith, hope, and second chances. Hearing how the story touched different hearts in different ways reminded me exactly why I write. I'm already looking forward to our next meeting!
When Your Home Is Bursting with Love
My husband and I had the joy of hosting our annual Christmas Brunch this year, and let me tell you… our house was packed to the rafters! Just like Thanksgiving, we had family everywhere, laughter echoing through the rooms, and enough food to feed a small army (and then some!).
There's something so beautiful about gathering with the ones you love to celebrate the birth of our Savior. The mess, the noise, the chaos of it all… it's the best kind of chaos. Those are the moments I treasure most, the ones that remind me what truly matters.
Witnessing God's Miracle
Here's something that has me crying happy tears. My Dad has been coming to church with us regularly! Y'all, I can't even remember the last time this happened. When I see him sitting in that pew, worshiping alongside us, I'm reminded once again that God is in the business of miracles. He truly will do ALL that He says He will do, and His timing is always perfect, even when we can't see it.
Reflecting on God's Faithfulness
"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." — Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV)
As I look back on this past year—the launch of my author dream, the precious moments with family, the prayers answered—I'm overwhelmed by God's faithfulness. His mercies really are new every morning, and I'm so excited to walk into 2026 knowing He's already gone before us.
